Michael worked as an effective political strategist in local, state, and federal elections since 2000. Working for candidates from president to dogcatcher, Michael gained an up-close and personal view of the personal costs of pursuing power. Earning both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Penn State University, Michael believes the single greatest thing he found at Penn State was his best friend and love of his life, Serena. A multi-year candidate himself, Michael sought local election four times, winning only one race before hanging up his running shoes for good. Michael and Serena, will celebrate 20 years of marriage in 2024. They are raising their three boys to have imagination, a healthy love for ice cream, and generous souls.
