Resurrecting the Bull Moose Party that nearly won Teddy Roosevelt a third term, Piper builds a popular movement of citizens who feel overlooked and increasingly hopeless about the future. Election Day presents no clear winner, and the arcane Contingent Election procedure of the Constitution threatens domestic tranquility. Unforeseen events unleash panic and rattle the nation. Some claim it is the Curse of Tippecanoe, but whatever the cause, time is running short to thwart a Constitutional crisis like no other in the Republic’s history.

The top 64 Presidents nominated by March 17 will enter the bracket challenge. Each President will be assigned a ranking and a region on the Commander-In-Chief bracket.
The tournament begins a week later on March 24. Based on the actual Men’s NCAA tournament results, each Commander-in-Chief will advance to the next round or be eliminated.
For example, let’s say President Josiah Bartlet is ranked #1 and plays #16 ranked President Gorgon Shumway in the Television Region, which corresponds to the East Region. If the #16 team in the East Region upsets #1, then Shumway moves on to the next round. If, in the real basketball tournament, #1 prevails in the East region, then Bartlet would move on. And so on and so on.
We will accept up to 5,000 brackets in total for the 2024 sweepstakes. Brackets can begin to be created on Selection Sunday, March 17. All brackets must be submitted by the deadline on March 24.
